Dustfan These albums showcase Klayton's versatility and serve as proof he is one of the top soundscape artists out there. Future 1992 with it's down-tempo beats and space program samples could be off The Crystal Method's Vegas. Lifeforms is very organic sounding and would fit in on a Mass Effect soundtrack. Hold On is reminiscent of Psybient legends Carbon Based Lifeforms. The ambient tracks, especially Surface Scanner, are quite stunning and rival anything off the Cryo Chamber (Dark Ambient) label. Favorite track: Surface Scanner.

Ac!dKru The transition from Celldweller to FreqGen makes so much sense once you dig into the Transmissions volumes. VOL. 3 is, I feel, the best showcase of what this project is all about. Klayton weaves atmosphere, complexity and energy wrapped up in an ambient-chill-electronic story. Close your eyes and let this ship take you galaxies and worlds beyond space and time. Favorite track: Cassini.

Transmissions: Vol. 03 marks the third extraterrestrial voyage FreqGen takes into the stars with the Transmissions series of intergalactic electronic experimentation. On board you'll find ambient soundscapes that transcend listeners into a galaxy all their own to tracks with driving beats, evocative swells and an analog warmth that will keep you fueled up during your travels to the furthest reaches of distant planets. Whether you're exploring crystallized ice caverns or dodging your way through asteroids - Transmissions: Vol. 03 is the perfect soundtrack for wherever you end up in the endless expanses of our universe. Modular & analog sound design and progressive composition fuse once more, creating the next installment in a collection of songs that could only come from Klayton as he stands behind the command console in the FreqGen spaceship. Buckle up, and prepare for take-off.
